منذ أكثر من ثلاثة أشهر منذ بدء الحرب في أوكرانيا ، يواجه العالم أزمة غلاء معيشية متفاقمة تؤثر على حياة وسبل عيش ما يقدر بنحو 1.6 مليار شخص ، كما يحذر موجز قادم من أمين الأمم المتحدة- مجموعة الاستجابة للأزمات العالمية التابعة للجنرال بشأن الغذاء والطاقة والتمويل.
تم إنشاء المجموعة ، التي تضم مجموعة متنوعة من القادة من وكالات الأمم المتحدة وبنوك التنمية والمنظمات الدولية الأخرى ، من قبل الأمين العام أنطونيو غوتيريس لتطوير حلول منسقة للآثار المتتالية والمترابطة بشدة للحرب في أوكرانيا.

War in Ukraine unleashes cost-of-living crisis for 1.6 billion people
UN Secretary-General’s Global Crisis Response Group on Food, Energy and Finance to present latest findings on the impact of the war on people’s lives and livelihoods globally
8 June 2022 — More than three months since the start of the war in Ukraine, the world faces a deepening cost-of-living crisis, affecting the lives and livelihoods of an estimated 1.6 billion people, warns a forthcoming brief from the UN Secretary-General’s Global Crisis Response Group on Food, Energy and Finance.
The Group, which includes a diversity of leaders from UN agencies, development banks and other international organizations, was established by Secretary-General António Guterres to develop coordinated solutions to the cascading and deeply interconnected impacts of the war in Ukraine.
Coordinated by the Secretary-General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Rebeca Grynspan, the brief will present solutions needed to cushion and respond to the impact, in an urgent effort to avert a larger global crisis, particularly in developing countries grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic and effects of climate change.
