أسفت أمانة المالية في حزب الوطنيين الأحرار لحالة الانهيار المالي والاقتصادي الشامل التي تعصف بالبلاد لاسيما وان سعر صرف الدولار يتجه الى الثمانين ألف ليرة لبنانية وأكثر دون أي سقف او ضوابط، يرافقها حالة فقر وجوع وعوز شديد ينوء تحتها أكثر من سبعين بالمئة من الشعب اللبناني، وذلك بمقابل صمت القبور الذي يبديه المسؤولون حيال هذا الواقع .
وطالبت الأمانة من مجلس الوزراء ومصرف لبنان ووزارة المالية وجمعية المصارف ووزارة الاقتصاد، وسائر الادارات والاشخاص المختصين، بالمسارعة فوراً لوضع خطة طوارئ اقتصادية ولجم الانهيار المخيف وحماية الشعب اللبناني من مخاطر الفوضى والفلتان الأمني الذي يهدد الشارع، واعادة الاموال للمودعين، خاصة لاصحاب الودائع بالليرة اللبنانية وبصورة ملحة وعاجلة ضمن حدود معينة.
